MidAtlanticBroadband Acquires Smart.net

Fredericksburg, Virginia -- June 21, 2004 -- MidAtlanticBroadband (MidAtlantic), a rapidly growing, facilities-based, voice, video and data service provider, announced today that is has acquired Smart.net.  Smart.net, based in Laurel, Maryland, is a provider of dial-up Internet access and web hosting services.  The Smart.net IP network covers large sections of Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Delaware.
